Dogs of Georgetown: Furry Friends Around the Square 🐾

🐾 🐾

If you’ve ever taken a stroll around the Georgetown Square, you already know—it’s not just a people-watching paradise… it’s a pup-watching one too! As a dog lover and longtime local, one of my favorite things about walking downtown is all the adorable furbabies in Georgetown Texas I get to meet along the way.

That’s why I’m launching a brand-new weekly blog series: Dogs of Georgetown 🐶✨
Each week, I’ll be featuring some of the sweet, spunky, and downright photogenic pups I meet on my walks around the Square and beyond. Consider this your weekly dose of tail wags, floppy ears, and friendly faces—both furry and human!

🐾 This Week’s Featured Furry Friends

Let’s kick things off with a few recent canine encounters that made my day:

Time to meet little Brody

Meet little Brody, this little one might be just a baby, and OHHHH so adorable! Posing like a pro for us! Just a baby, so we cant wait to see Brody grown into that beautiful fur-baby in the future!

Meet Koda

I spotted him chilling in the shade at Mesquite Outfitters Patio (a perfect dog-friendly stop). With his old soul eyes, you can look into them forever. I was captivated from half a block away. He is as beautiful as ever and so well behaved, so calm, like he owned the whole Square. His owners Jeff Hach and Stef were great to talk with, I look forward to seeing Koda again!

Looking for the Donut Dog? Here she is!

This little baby was out for a quick spin around the square when I spotted her at Tejas Meat Supply (another perfect dog-friendly corner). She's full of energy (possibly had a donut prior??) and sported the best fur-baby outfit I’ve seen all week.

🦓 Georgetown Is for the Dogs

One of the reasons I started this series is because I’ve noticed just how pet-friendly Georgetown really is. From water bowls outside shops to welcoming dog-friendly patios, downtown is practically made for four-legged companions. You’ll often see pups hanging out on the Square, relaxing while their humans sip coffee, browse boutiques, or attend local events.

Some of my favorite Georgetown Square dog spots include:
🐾 The patio at Monument Café
🐾 Blue Hole Park for riverside walks
🐾 Bark Bar at Rentsch Brewery (yep, that’s a thing!)

I’d love to meet your furry friend! If you have a Georgetown TX dog you’d like featured, tag me in your Instagram posts or shoot me a message with a photo and fun fact about your pup. You can also let me know where I should walk next—maybe your block is a hidden gem of cuteness I haven’t sniffed out yet!

šŸ• See You Around the Square!

If you spot me walking the Square taking fur baby photos, don’t be shy—say hi! I’d love to meet you and your pup. And be sure to check back every week for new features, fresh faces, and even more reasons to love the dogs of Georgetown TX.

Until next time… keep those tails wagging and leashes loose! šŸ¾šŸ’›
